JYJ fans showed their unmovable support when Junsu, Yoochun, and Jaejoong performed for their global album showcase on the 12th of October. Apart from making the boys hit record numbers in sales, they also helped them reach another record by donating rice in their name.
Fans donated a grand total of 3.38 tons of rice that were to be given to charity in JYJ’s name. From the 9th of October to the 11th, fans kept showing up to donate rice. It has been reported that the hefty donation is the highest record in history, surpassing any other donation made in the entertainment industry or business organization.
The rice donated will be able to feed an incredible amount of up to 70,000 people. Meanwhile, JYJ is currently in Thailand and getting ready to meet with their fans for the upcoming showcase.
